Charles Terrence "Terry" Jones

Mr. Terry Jones passed away June 9,2020 in Magnolia Health and Rehab Center, Columbia Tennessee at the age of 78. Mr. Jones was born on August 29, 1941 to the late Charles Earnest and Neal Irene (Taylor) Jones. Terry proudly served in the United States Air Force as a Vietnamese linguist. He also was a lifelong musician and a member of the Cavaliers. He had a masters in business from Vanderbilt University and had a successful career in sales for many years. He was well known for his sense of humor and never met a stranger. He was loved by all who met him. Terry is survived by his wife Carolyn Welch Jones; son, Charlie Jones of Austin, TX; daughter, Amy (Michael) Murphy of New Braunfels, TX; brother, Roger (Freda) Jones of Fairview, TN; sister, Nancy (Jack) Holt of Fairview, TN and 6 grandchildren. Visitation for Mr. Jones will be Saturday June 13 from 12:00 Noon until time of services at the Fairview Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home. Funeral Services for Mr. Jones will be Saturday June 13, beginning at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in the Lampley Cemetery.
