Vivian Lucille Grooms

Vivian Lucille Grooms, age 92, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, TN. Ms. Grooms was born December 10, 1926, in Wynne, Arkansas to the late Anderson Eugene and Rosie (Thompson) Collins.  She is a retired seamstress from Memphis Furniture Company. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by three daughters, Marsheilla Rodriguez, Joy Hawks, and Terry Grooms; an infant child; four brothers, Garland, Lee, Earl, and Sammy Collins; and one sister, Dorothy Webb. Ms. Grooms is survived by one son, Robert Eugene (Paula) Grooms of Millington, TN; two daughters, Patricia (Ben) Lampley of Dickson, TN, and Brenda (Eddie) Davis of New Johnsonville, TN; one sister, Doris (Willie) McCalister of West Olive, Michigan; ten grandchildren, Chris and John Davis, Jason, Kevin, and Marlena Scott, Josh Grooms, Dawn Cranfield, Danielle Tucker, and Aristeo and Stephanie Rodriguez; and several great-grandchildren.  Family gathering will be planned at a later date.
