Thelma Jean Garton

Thelma Jean Garton, age 95, of Dickson, TN, passed away September 18, 2021 at NHC Healthcare in Dickson,TN. Thelma was born November 2, 1925 in Dickson County, TN, to the late James A. and Jessie Clifton Garton. Those left to cherish her memory are her sister, Hester Parker of Dickson, TN; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Lorene Fussell, and Lucille Garton; half-brother, Albert Garton; and half-sister, Doye Donegan. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and will resume on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Dickson Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home; with Chad Fussell officiating. Interment will follow in Clifton Cemetery.
