Steven Ray Blanks

Mr. Steven Ray Blanks, age 64, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2019 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN.  Steve Blanks was retired from the Dickson County Sheriff's Dept., and was a former Mayor of White Bluff, Tn. He was born November 9, 1954 in San Diego, California to the late George Ray and Barbara Aline (Hickerson) Blanks Mr. Blanks is survived by his best friend and their daughters mother, Anna Lively of Bowling Green, KY; a son, Morghan Blanks of Dickson, TN; a daughter, Mariah (Jeremy) Morris of Bowling Green, KY; three brothers, Scott Blanks of White Bluff, Rusty (Denise) Blanks of LaGrange, GA, and Johnny Reb Blanks of White Bluff, TN; four sisters, Roxanna (Bruce) Heckathorne of Dallas, TX, Sherry Jean (Jeff) Groves of White Bluff, TN, Robin (David) Pickard of Dickson, TN, and Missy Blanks of Dickson, TN; and three grandchildren, Kadence, Tyler, and Ripley Morris. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Maranda Aline Blanks. Visitation will begin Monday, July 15, 2019 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and will resume on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at 10:00 AM until the time of service at the White Bluff Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home. Funeral service is Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at 2:00 PM from the White Bluff Chapel of the Dickson Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Deerman and Pastor Bobby Morgan officiating.
