Ruby Jean Mowat

Ruby Jean Mowat, age 69, of Dickson, TN, passed away April 25, 2020 at her residence. Mrs. Ruby was born February 9, 1951 in Dickson County, TN, to the late John and Virginia Clifton. She is survived by five daughters, Bonnie Jean (Joseph) Pond of Daphne, Ala., Edie (Gary) Ola of Dickson, TN, Frances Sprott of Dickson, TN, Samantha (Cleve) McLean of Cunningham, TN, and Ann (Drew) Mowat of Dover, TN; eight grandchildren, Alison, C.J., Alex, Brandon Andrew, Sarah Faith, Casey Jones, Sabrina Jean, and Opal; and three great-grandchildren, Edwin, Xavier, and Alexander. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Francis Edmond Mowat; an infant son, Andrew Mowat; a brother, Roy Cothern; and a son-in-law, Tim Sprott. Due to the current events with the COVID-19 restrictions, there will be a private Memorial service on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home.
