Peggy Jean Buttrey

Peggy Jean Buttrey, age 87, passed away August 31, 2019 at N.H.C. in Dickson, TN. Peggy was born April 25, 1932 in Dickson County, TN, to the late Willie and Mary Woodard Hamilton.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Buttrey; a grandson, Christopher Leschorn; and a brother, James Hamilton. Mrs. Buttrey is survived by two daughters, Anita (David) Leschorn of Clarksville, TN, and Lisa (Joseph) Hafner of Dickson, TN; one sister, Dimple (Allen) Dearborn of Dickson, TN; and six grandchildren, Kimberly Leschorn, Emily (Nathan) Hayes, Amy Hafner (fiance Michael Griffin), Sarah Hafner, Daniel Hafner, and Macy Hafner. Visitation will begin Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at 10:30 am until 2:00 pm at Dickson Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Dickson, TN.
