Mary Dean Murrell

Mary Dean Murrell of Dickson, TN; Age 98; Passed away at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, TN on Tuesday, May 22, 2018.

She was born in Macon County, TN on December 23, 1919, to the late Mr. & Mrs. Robert, and Bertha (Smith) Knight.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Howard T. Murrell; brothers James, Paul, and Donald Knight as well as her sister Lois Denson.

She is survived by her sons Dennis R. Murrell (Shirley) of Dickson, TN, and Mark L. Murrell (Karen Burnett) of Lyles, TN; step-sons Robert E. Murrell (Fay) of Orlando, FL, and Kenneth W. Murrell (Carolyn) of Loudon, TN; as well as 7 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will begin on Thursday, May 24, 2018, from 2 – 8 PM and will continue on Friday, May 25, 2018, from 12:00 PM – until the time of services at the Dickson Funeral Home.

Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 25, 2018, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at the Bon Aqua Methodist Cemetery.
