Lona Elizabeth Rumble

Lona Elizabeth Rumble, age 87, of Dickson, TN, passed away July 11, 2021 at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN. Lona was born May 22, 1934, in Dickson County, TN, to the late George Felix and Era Ethel (Tidwell) Lampley. Those left to cherish her memory are, a son, Donald (CherryLee) Buchanan of Bon Aqua, TN; daughter, Rita Buchanan (Jerry) Brown of Burns, TN; brother, George (Darlene) Lampley of Dickson, TN; five grandchildren, Shana Tiara Brown, Corey Scot Brown, Melantha Graybill, Gilbert Buchanan, and Tyrel Buchanan; and four great-grandchildren, Owen Buchanan, Madelyn Buchanan, Avery Buchanan, and Anslee Buchanan. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her, husbands, Marshall Ray Buchanan and James Frank Rumble; brothers, Ray, Melvin, Floyd, Jesse, and Vince Lampley; and sisters, Dolly Plunkett, Louise Gossett, and Lorene Black. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at Dickson Funeral Home, beginning at 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and will resume on Thursday, July 15, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Funeral services will be Thursday, July 15, 2021, at Dickson Funeral Home, at 2:00 p.m., with Bro. Ron Hackney officiating. Interment will be at Missionary Ridge Cemetery.
