Obituary of Lloyd Donald Cude January 7, 1935 – November 16, 2020 Lloyd Donald “Don” Cude of Waverly TN died peacefully on Monday, November 16th, 2020 after suffering a stroke. Born in Hickman County TN on January 7th, 1935 to William Doyle Cude and Ethel (Tucker) Cude Don was preceded in death by his brother, Ray Cude, sister Marie (Cude) Moore, and son Donnie Cude. Don was the Assistant Scout Master of Troop 227 at Crieve Hall Church of Christ, Assistant Baseball Coach for the Garrett Marsh Ford Little League team in Dickson, taught Sunday School at Crieve Hall Church of Christ in Nashville and Walnut Street Church of Christ in Dickson. He was an avid golfer and boating enthusiast. He served as an Insurance Adjuster for 27 years and as an Engineer for the Bellevue Mall for 14 years until his retirement. Don is survived by his companion and best friend Lorene Halliburton of Dickson, son Andy Cude (LaQuela) of Rocklin, California, daughter of Lorene Halliburton, Kim Halliburton and Kim’s daughter Addison and mother of their sons Irene (Bowman) Brantly. Don has three grandchildren, Shelby Cude (Marina Del Rey, CA), Ian Cude (Knoxville, TN), and Lexi Barnett (Nashville, TN), and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Family Visitation will be held Thursday, November 19th from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm and public visitation from 2:30 to 7:00 pm at the Dickson Funeral home in Dickson. Visitation will resume Friday, November 20th at 10:00 am followed by Services at 2:00 pm. Attendees are requested to follow proper Covid protocols.
