Larry Downs Dowdy

Larry Downs Dowdy, age 77, of Dickson, TN, passed away March 9, 2021 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN. Larry was born February 23, 1944 in Roanoke, VA, to the late Lorenzo and Lucille (Hale) Dowdy. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Dowdy of Dickson, TN; two daughters, Dedi Noetzel and Wendi Brewer both of Florida; two sisters, Pam (Henry) Fawcett and Priscilla (Donald) Self, both of Virginia; nine grandchildren, Paris Dowdy, Madison Dowdy, Olivia Dowdy, Devil Noetzel, Destinee Schuab, Phillip Brewer, Lindsay Gunter, Summer Brewer, and Kayla Woolwine; and two great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Mark; and two sons, Matthew Mark Dowdy and Tony Scott Dowdy. There are no arrangements at this time.
