Joseph Frank Cariani, 75 years of age, passed away August 21, 2022 at TriStar Horizon Medical Center. Joseph was born August 4, 1947, in Springfield, Massachusetts to the late Joseph Casimira and Carolyn Hope (Borowsky) Cariani. He was a caring, loving man who loved his family. He was an avid fisherman, loved woodworking, old John Wayne westerns and movies. He was a member of the local VFW and the DAV. He was a musician, where he was a vocalist and played the guitar. He was a member of a band in Germany, known as Southern Comfort, during his music career he often emulated Elvis, who was one of his favorite artists. Later in life he developed the love of video games. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Janice Mize and Suzanne Becker. Those left to cherish his memory are his, wife of 46 years, Micki Cariani of White Bluff, TN; three sons, Billy (Amy) Cariani of Gardner, Kansas, Neil (Astrid) Cariani of Cedar Hill, TN, and Tate Cariani of White Bluff, TN; two daughters, Crysta Abbott of Clarksville, TN, and Katie Cariani of Kansas City, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Kyla (Jeff) Young, Megan (Jordan) Davis, London Cariani, Alonna Cariani, Cora Head, Oliver Head, Bryan (Kayla) Cariani, and Andrew Cariani; and five great-grandchildren, Daniel Ross, Bentley Young, Jackson Davis, Hadley Underwood, and Corlen Underwood; and three sisters, Vicki (Robert) Sullivan, Carolyn Lucas, and Debbie Seltzer. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Dickson County. A Memorial service will be held 12:30pm, Friday, Sept 2, 2022. Burial to follow at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery at 2:00pm. Visitation will be 10:00am, Friday until time of service at Dickson Funeral Home and Cremation Center
