John Frank Wilbanks

John Frank Wilbanks of Nashville, TN; Age 91; Passed away on Monday, May 07, 2018 at The Meadows in Nashville, TN.

He was born on January 27, 1927, in Cullman, AL to the late Francis Marion and Lillie Josephine (Robertson) Wilbanks.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.

He is survived by his daughters Gail England, and Ruth Capps both of Nashville, TN; grandchildren Andy England, Lori Hastings (Christopher), Jennifer Roach (Jeff), and Marlena Capps; daughter-in-law Christina England; great-grandchildren Marissa, and Andrew England, and Karissa, and Alyssa Roach; as well as many nieces & nephews, including Don Wilbanks of Cullman, AL.

He was proud of his military service, but he was most proud of his Christian heritage.

A special thank you to the staff of The Meadows and The Good Samaritan for their loving care.

Visitation will begin on Friday, May 11, 2018, from 4 – 8 PM at Western Hills Church of Christ in Nashville; and will continue on Saturday, May 12, 2018, from 9:00 AM – until the time of services.

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Western Hills Church of Christ with David Estes & Larry Cochran.

Burial will follow at 12:30 PM at Harpeth Hills Memorial Gardens.
