James Franklin Brown, Jr., age 48, of Clarksville, TN, passed away September 19, 2021 at St. Thomas Hickman in Centerville, TN. James was born July 15, 1973 in Columbus, GA, to the late James Franklin, Sr. and Patricia Ann (Jones) Brown. Those left to cherish his memory are his significant other, Melissa Guthrie of Dickson, TN; three sons, James Franklin (Valerie) Brown, III, Michael Rigsby, and Damian Floyd, all of Phenix City, AL; three daughters, Courtney (Jen) Gue of Georgia, Ashley Floyd of Phenix City, AL, and Heather; two brothers, Henry (Jan) Brown of Clarksville, TN, and Jimye Taylor of Phenix City, AL; three sisters, Tamey (Randy) Clegg of Columbus, GA, Janice (Greg) Hopkins of Clarksville, TN, and Cathy (Joey) McCart of Phenix City, AL; and five grandchildren, Riley, Kynsi, Leiland, Kaidyn, and Amiyah. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Donna Smith, and a nephew, Nathan McCart. James wishes were to be cremated. There are no arrangements at this time.
