Helen Christine Smith, age 71, of Dickson, TN, passed away January 21, 2022 at NHC of Dickson. Helen was born September 7, 1950, in Dickson County, TN, to the late James Casey and Jennie Margaret (Moore) Garton. Those left to cherish her memory are her, son, George Phillip James Smith of White Bluff, TN; three daughters, Margaret Danielle Smith of White Bluff, TN, Mary-Beth Massey of Greenback, TN, and Theresa Vay Smith of Lenoir City, TN; four brothers, Murray (Cheryl) Garton of TN, Roy Garton and Terry Garton, both of Huntsville, AL, and Benny Garton of LA; sister, Mary Lee Garton of White Bluff, TN; and six grandchildren, Drew Smith, Priya Smith, Aria Smith, Katelyn Henson, Noah Allbert, and Karlie Allbert. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Dickson Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., and will resume Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 10;00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will be in Thursday, January 27, 2022 in the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Martin Garton Cemetery in Burns, TN.
