George David Strawser

George David Strawser, age 76, of Burns, TN, passed away June 1, 2021. George was born March 8, 1945, in Philadelphia, Penn., to the late George Alvin and Selma Rose (W.) Strawser. George is a former member of the Coast Guard Auxllary and Rolling Thunder. He retired after 22 years of service with Yellow Freight. He is survived by his wife, Linda (Niederhauser) Strawser of Burns, TN; a son, George David (April) Strawser of Lyles, TN; a daughter, Carrie (John) Harris of Seymour, TN; a sister, Mary (Jack) Gardner of North Carolina; five grandchildren, Joey Strawser, Emily Strawser, Glen Couch, Mark Strawser, and Ryan Strawser; and one great-granddaughter, Jayce Strawser. George was preceded in death by his parents, George Alvin and Selma Rose Strawser. A Graveside service will be Friday, June 4, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 7931 McCrory Lane, Nashville, TN, 37221.
