Frank Larry Overton

Mr. Frank Larry Overton, Sr., of Fairview, passed away at his daughter’s residence in Fairview on Monday,February 4*^. He was 81 years of age. Mr. Overton was bom June 19, 1937 to Frank Waller Overton and Nellie (Davis) Overton in Davidson County,Tennessee. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force (1956-1960) and Army (1962-78)where he retired as a First Sargent. He worked construction following his retirement from the military. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Annette James. Survivors include: sons Frank Larry Overton, Jr. of Dickson and James Litton Overton of Arkansas; daughterJacqueline Kennedy and husband Dale of Fairview; brother James Litton Overton of Fairview. Fivegrandchildren include Seth, Aron, Cassie, Kobe, and Carleigh. Frank Overton was a member of the Liberty Hill Church of Christ. Visitation will be on Thursday, February 7*, at the Fairview Chapel from 4-8 pm and Friday, February 8*, from10 am until time of service. Funeral service will be Friday, February 8* from the Fairview Chapel beginning at1 pm with Bro. Daryl Kilgore officiating. At the request of the deceased and his family, the body will becremated following the service.
