Eugene Clay Tidwell

Eugene Clay Tidwell, age 74, of Dickson, TN, passed away at The Lodge in Nashville, TN, on January 6, 2021. Clay and Harrietta ministered at Dickson County Jail and at Horizon Hospital in the chaplain service for many years. Eugene was born Dec. 7, 1946 in Davidson County, TN to the late Oda Eugene and Katherine (Spradlin) Tidwell. He is survived by his wife, Harrietta S. Tidwell of Dickson, TN; three sons, Jason David (Mary) Tidwell of Dickson, TN, Chad Eugene (Julie)Tidwell of South Carolina, and Michael Shane Tidwell of Smyrna, TN; one sister, June King of Fairivew, TN; and two grandchildren, Muranda and Michael Tidwell. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Donald Wayne Tidwell; a sister, Margaret Dean Tidwell; and a grandson, Zachary Tidwell. Visitation will be Saturday, Jan. 9, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Graveside services will be Sunday, Jan. 10, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Dickson County Memorial Gardens.
