Erskine Alexander

Erskine Alexander was born November 12, 1957 in Nashville, TN to JD Alexander and Camilla H. Steele. He entered into his eternal home on July 6, 2020. Erskine was educated in the Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools and graduated from McGavock High School in Nashville in 1975. He served in the United States Army. In the early 2000's he professed his life to Christ and united with Greater Mt. Zion Church in Nashville where he served as deacon. Erskines memory will be cherished by his beloved mother, Camilla H. Steele, son Mario McAdoo of Nashville, TN; siblings Marvell Alexander (Vera) of Nashville, TN. John Owens (Tammie) of Tampa, FL, Terra Patterson (Nicholas) of Nashville, TN, and the late James D. Alexander of Nashville, TN; his grandmother, the late Camilla Jordan; four aunties, Lois Nubie (Harold) of Nashville, TN, Madeline Snoody of Nashville, TN, the late Brenda A Jones of Houston, TX and Harriet E Jordon of Nashville, TN; uncle, Cardell Jordan (Sandra) of Florissant, Mo, and a host of cousins. The family plans to have a small service with military honors at the Veterans Cemetery in Pegram, TN on August 13th 2020. I Thessalonians 4:13 - And now dear brethren we want you to know what happens to believers who have died so you will not grieve like people who have no hope.
