Dennis Howard Hayes

Dennis Howard Hayes, age 62, passed away August 28, 2019 at Horizon Medical Center. Mr. Hayes was born October 8, 1956, in Detroit, Michigan to the late Carl J. and Della Mae (Harris) Hayes. He enjoyed farming, gardening, and raising chickens. He is survived by his spouse Jeri Armstrong; one son, Justin (Andrea) Hayes; one daughter, Kayla Hayes; two step-daughters, Jennifer Rollins and Julie Shasteen; two brothers, Richard (Bernice) Hayes and Wade (Kay) Hayes; three sisters, Carolyn Neeley, Cynthia Pritchard, and Denise (Vince) Burkett; five grandchildren; a poodle Lily Mae; Sandra (Kerr) Hayes, the mother of his children; and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation at parkinsons.org or the Michael J. Fox Foundation at michaeljfox.org. Visitation is Saturday, August 31, 2019 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm at Dickson Funeral Home, with a Funeral service at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of the Dickson Funeral Home.
