Christopher Collins Whitehead

Christopher Collins Whitehead, age 47, of Bon Aqua, TN, passed away January 5, 2020 at Natchez Medical Center in Dickson, TN. Christopher was born January 28, 1972 to James Alfred Whitehead and Helen Fay (Madewell) Whitehead Schauer in Wilson County, TN and was a resident of Smith County for many years. He is survived by his father, James Alfred Whitehead of Nashville, TN; mother and step-father, Helen Fay (Robert A.) Schauer of Carthage, TN; girlfriend, Cindy Donegan of White Bluff, TN; three sons, Tyler Waller of Nashville, TN, Brandon Sutton of Nashville, TN, and Nathan Waller of Nashville, TN; one daughter, Cierra Sutton of Nashville, TN; one brother, Jamie (Valerie) Whitehead of Nashville, TN,; one sister, Mary Blackburn of Bon Aqua, TN; two aunts, Frances Sexton of Carthage, TN, and Ellen Lockheart of MI; cousins, Linda Baker, Betty, Brenda, William, and Patsy Marie Sexton; and several nieces, and nephews. Christopher is preceded in death by several aunts and uncles. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at the Fairview Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home from 12:00 until 8:00 P.M., and will resume on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Funeral service will be Thursday, January 16, 2020 at the Fairview Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home at 12:00 P.M. Burial will be at Chestnut Mound Missionary Baptist Church in Smith County, TN.
