Chester Montgomery

Chester Montgomery of Bon Aqua, TN; Age 87; Passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, TN.

He was born in Maury County, TN on March 23, 1931 to the late Arthur Montgomery, and Erthel (Vaughan) Montgomery.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, and mother of their children Mary Hay Montgomery; an infant son Randy; as well as his brother George Montgomery.

He is survived by his wife Shirley Gordon Montgomery of Bon Aqua, TN; son Ricky Montgomery of Williamson County, TN; step-sons Jesse Jones of Hickman County, TN; and Lloyd Cunningham of Fairview, TN; daughters Sheryl McCuthen (Jeff) of Fairview, TN, Sherry Montgomery (Chreasman) of Maury County, TN, Vickie McCord (Mark) of Maury County, TN; step-daughter Ginny Parker of Hickman County, TN; sisters Lucille Sullivan, Ellen Parham, Narva Curle (Okle), and Dimple Blaylock (Mike); as well as 6 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Monday, September 17, 2018 from 3 – 8 PM, and will continue on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 from 10:00 AM – until the time of services.

Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 from the Fairview Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home with Pastor Gregory Mangrum, and Pastor Don Levvorn officiating.

Burial will follow at Oakleys Cemetery in Hickman County, TN.
