Carolyn Joan Balthrop

Carolyn Joan Balthrop, age 73, of Dickson, TN, passed away August 30, 2021 at TriStar Horizon Medical Center. Carolyn was born March 27, 1948, in Dickson County, TN, to the late Joe David and Mary Evelyn (Phelps) Adams. Those left to cherish her memory are, husband, James Balthrop; two daughters, Michele (Bryan) Long, and Jamie (Woodrow) McDaniel both of Dickson, TN; brother, David (Vickie) Adams of Dickson, TN; sister, Delores (Johnny) Story of Charlotte, TN; six grandchildren, Autumn Pasquale, Bryan J. (Sarah) Long, Ashton (David) Tipton, Aaron Long, Branden McDaniel, and Ryan McDaniel; five great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy Adams and Eddie Adams; and a sister, Martha Dale Guthrie. Mrs. Balthrop's wishes were to be cremated.
