Carl William Cathey

Carl William Cathey, age 85, passed away November 12, 2019 at his residence in White Bluff, TN. Carl was born April 9, 1934 in Dickson County, TN, to the late John M. and Allie Mae (Garton) Cathey. He is survived by his wife, Mary Elsie (Deason) Cathey of White Bluff, TN; three sons, Albert Dale Cathey of White Bluff, TN, Gary (Tabitha) Cathey of White Bluff, TN, and Donald (Carla) Cathey of Centerville, TN; three daughters, Judy E.(Bryan) Hollis of Chattanooga, TN, Becky (Richard) Grimm of Antioch, TN, and Melissa Cathey (Brian Tucker) Burns, TN; two sisters, Pearl Hayes of White Bluff, TN and Mattie Cooper of Dickson, TN; eleven grandchildren, Brett, Kevin, Amanda, Emily, Aiden, Addison, Jason, Nathan, Torrie, Lacey, and Angel Beth; and eight great-grandchildren, Andrew, Anna Belle, Audrianna, Malachi, Chloe, Charleigh, Zachary, and Kaylynne. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his daughter, Sharon Cathey Stitt; a sister, Ora Aldridge; four brothers, Edward, Delmar, Paul, and Herschel Cathey; and a granddaughter, Danielle Cathey. Visitation for Mr. Cathey will be Wednesday, November 13, 2019 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the White Bluff Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home in White Bluff, TN. There will be a graveside service on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at Williams Cemetery in White Bluff, TN with Elder Bryan Hollis officiating.
