Bobbie Gorie Pope

Bobbie Gorie Pope, age 90, passed away October 26, 2019 at Mustang Creek Estates of Allen, Texas. Mr. Pope was born July 17, 1929 to the late Elmer C. and Viola (Goodgine) Pope in Davidson County, TN. He is survived by one son, Joel Pope of Los Angeles, CA; two daughters, Melinda (Barry) Sanderson of Fairview, TN, and Melisa Perrin of Kingwood, TX; one brother, Larry Pope of Del Rio, TX; one sister, Peggy (Fred) Smith of Chattanooga, TN; four grandchildren, Adam Sanderson, Jonathan Sanderson, Drew Sanderson, and Jesse Perrin; and seven great-grandchildren, Shelby Sanderson, Peyton Sanderson, Bailey Sanderson, Jon Sanderson, Savanna Sanderson, Madeline Sanderson, and Blake Sanderson. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Shirley Dianne Pope and an infant son. Funeral arrangements are Thursday, Novemeber 7, 2019 at 1:00pm at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Pegram, TN. Arrangements by Dickson Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
