Betty (Springer) Gryskiewicz

Betty Lou (Springer) Gryskiewicz – Age 82, of Bon Aqua, passed away August 15, 2022. Mrs. Betty was a loving, selfless, and caring woman. Born October 26, 1939, to the late Lige and Bessie Cantrell in Centerville. She was best described as a simple country girl. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, country cooking, traveling, dancing, a loose slot machine, a good Nascar race with Ernie Irvan winning and most of all spending time with her family. She worked for many years as a Nurse and a deputy at the Dickson County Sheriff’s Department. Preceded in death by sisters Bea Derflinger and Ann Tidwell; brothers David Cantrell, Paul Cantrell, Ray Cantrell and J.W. Cantrell. Survived by her loving husband Patrick Gryskiewicz; sons David E. Springer (Jennifer), Timothy Springer (Nancy), Kenneth Springer (Jeri); granchildren Mathew, Crystal, Nick, Ryan, Lamont and Shannon; great-grandchildren Kohen, Brigham, Barrett, Penelope; sister Mary Hudgins. A Life Celebration will be held 1:00pm, Saturday, August 20th with burial to follow at Plunket Cemetery in Centerville.
