Betty Jo Cathey

Betty Jo Cathey, age 96 of White Bluff TN, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2019 at Claiborne and Hughes Health Center in Franklin, Tn. Mrs. Cathey is survived by her two daughters, Jeanette (Barry) Pack of York, Pa., and Nancy (John) Hunter of White Bluff, Tn; one sister, Pauline E. (Randall) Barnes of Nashville, Tn.; three grandchildren, Susan (Jeff) Davis, Melissa (Allen) Hines, and Jeffrey (Brandy) Hunter; four great-grandchildren, Alex Davis, Collin Hines, Holly Hines, and Grant Hunter; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Cathey was preceded in death by her parents, James E. and Grace (Jackson) Fitzgerald; by her husband Emory Cathey; brothers J.E. Fitzgerald Jr., Paul J. Fitzgerald, and Wendell B. Fitzgerald; and sister Frances J. Hapac. Memorials may be made to St. Judes Hospital. Visitation will be at Dickson Funeral Home, Wednesday, June 26, 2019 from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Thursday, June 27, 2019, from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service. Funeral service will be held from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 2:00 p.m., with Bro. Doug Couch officiating.
