Bertha Louise Gibbs

Bertha Louise Gibbs, age 78, of Charlotte, TN,  passed away Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Hillcrest Health Care in Ashland City, TN. Mrs. Gibbs was born November 10, 1940, to the late Carl and Bertha May (Hood) Gill. She is survived by three sons, Larry Dean Gibbs of Charlotte, TN; William Edward Shurm, and Bobby Russell Shurm; a daughter, Debbie Clark (Keith) of Columbia, TN; five grandchildren, Amanda, Mandy, Jacquelin, Regina, and Crystal; and 15 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Dean Gibbs, and brother, Buford Lee Gill. Visitation will be Sunday, October 20, 2019 from 1:30 PM until 8:00 PM; and will resume on Monday, October 21, 2019 from 9:30 AM until time of service. Funeral service will be held Monday, October 21, 2019 at 10:30 AM from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home, with a burial to follow in Slayden Cemetery in Cumberland Furnace, TN.
