Bernice Lucille Hix

Bernice Lucille Hix, age 89 of Dickson, TN, passed away November 28, 2019 at TriStar Horizon Medical Center in Dickson TN. Bernice was born January 25, 1930 in Dickson County, TN to the late Sim Carlton and Era (Register) Kimbro. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Jeanette Kimbro of Dickson, TN; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by, husband, Cancel Hix; a son, Terry Hix; three brothers, Bennie Carlton Kimbro of Lugoff, S.C., Baxter Glenn Kimbro of Centerville, TN, and Ralph Hartford Kimbro of Burns, TN; three sisters, Rose Lee Fuqua of Dallas, N.C.,  Ida Beatrice Middleton Banger of Michigan, and May Bitner. Visitation will be Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 11:00 AM until 7:00 PM and will resume Sunday, December 8, 2019 from 11:00 AM until time of service at Dickson Funeral Home. Funeral service is Sunday, December 8, 2019 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home, with a burial to follow at Kimbro Cemetery.
