Thomas William Smith of Dickson, TN; Age 88; Passed away on Friday, April 13, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Hickman Co., TN on October 04, 1929 to the late Mr. & Mrs. John and Teresa (Sullivan) Smith.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers Jessie Lee, J.C., and Leon Smith; sisters Birdie Mae Dawson, Bernice Smith Bowens, and Ernestine Smith Bonds; as well as his daughter. Mr. Smith is survived by his wife Angela Smith of Nashville, TN; son Thomas William Newsom (Ann) of Nashville, TN; step-sons Duran Patty, and Darius Patty both of Nashville, TN; as well as his grandchild Tomill Newsom Visitation will be on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 11:00 AM – until time of services. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 PM on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home with Bro. Ken Gaines officiating.
