Betty Ruth Parchment

Betty Ruth Parchment of Dickson, TN; Age 88; Passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at NHC Healthcare in Dickson, TN. Betty was born in Dickson County, TN on May 26, 1929 to the late Mr. & Mrs. Arthur and Callie (Edwards) Lamastus.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband L.H. Parchment; brothers Weaver Lamastus, J.C. Lamastus, Dudley B. Weaver, and Eugene Lamastus; sisters Doris Byrum, and Margie Tidwell; as well as her grandchildren Bobby, and Tonya Murphy. She is survived by her sons Ricky Parchment (Terri Jane), Terry Parchment (Donna), and Timmy Parchment all of Dickson, TN; daughters Brenda Boyd (Joe) of Cumberland Furnace, TN, Barbara Wells (Danny) Whited of Bon Aqua, TN, and Kay Baggett (Shane) of Clarksville, TN; brother Basil Lamastus; sisters Florence Burgess, Geneva Waynick, and Nadine Byrum; as well as her 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 from 11:00 AM – until 1:30 PM at Dickson Funeral Home. Graveside services will begin at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Union Cemetery with burial to follow.
