John Phillip Hooper

John Phillip Hooper, age 60, passed away on Tuesday, December 19th, 2017 at his residence in Oak Grove, KY.  He was born in Elgin, IL on April 15th, 1957 to the late Leon Hooper and Alma Lane Hooper.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Melba Alexander. He is survived by the mother of his children, Melanie Hooper of Nunnelly, TN; two sons, Nick Hooper of Dickson, Patrick Hooper of Nunnelly; and he is also survived by two sisters, Gail Shumate and Margaret Choate of Charlotte, TN. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 29th at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home.  Visitation with the family will begin form 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
