Joanne Kay Tidwell

Joanne Kay Tidwell of Dickson, TN; Age 81; Passed away on Monday, December 18, 2017 at Horizon Medical Center – Dickson, TN 37055. She was born on October 19, 1936 in Alameda, CA to the later Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Franklin, and Clara (Jarvis) Thorn.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter Lisa Wells; brother Ted Thorn; as well as her sister Jean Lewis. She is survived by her son James Dwyer (Pam) of Charlotte, TN; daughters Becky (Hall) Burton (Charles) of White Bluff, TN, and Christy Bowman of Springfield, TN; as well as 11 grand children, several great grand children, nieces, and nephews. Visitation will begin on Thursday, December 21, 2017 from 10:30 AM – until time of services. Funeral services will begin at 12:30 PM on Thursday, December 21, 2017 from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Harpeth Hills Memorial Gardens in Nashville, TN.
