Carl Eugene Lampley

Carl Eugene Lampley, age 74 passed away on Monday, November 27th, 2017 at his residence in Nashville.  He was born on December 4th, 1941 in Davidson County to the late Sue Eller Lampley.  In addition to his mother, he was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry and Ollie Lampley; his lifetime love Barbara Burgess; and great grandson Brayden Breedlove.  He is survived by his son, Carl Lampley, Jr. of Nashville; three daughters, Patricia Swift (Roger) and Priscilla Swift (Terry) both of Nashville, and Rhonda Hampton (Henry) of Ashland City.  He is also survived by ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; five brothers-in-law; cousins Linda Loggins, Murlene O’Neill, and Camelle Allen; as well as his caregivers, Kim, Katie, Wanda, and staff at Willowbrooke Hospice. Services will be held on Thursday, November 30th at 11:00 a.m. from the Fairview Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home with Chaplain Bill of Willowbrooke Hospice officiating.  Interment to follow at Jack Lampley Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will begin on Tuesday, November 28th from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and again on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the Fairview Chapel.  Arrangements by Dickson Funeral Home, 209 East College Street, Dickson, TN  37055.  Phone 615-446-2313.  Online condolences may be left at www.dicksonfuneralhome.com.
