David Ray Fussell

David Ray Fussell, age 90 passed away on Sunday, October 15th, 2017 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.  He was born on February 7th, 1927 to the late Elbert and Mary Alice Brown Fussell in Wayne County, Michigan.  In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Lea Fussell; brothers Lonnie Fussell and an infant twin; sisters Hazel Peters, Emily Cavins, and Janie Cordle.  He is survived by three sons, Dennis Fussell (Brenda), Danny Fussell, friend Linda and Johnny Fussell (Teresa) all of Dickson; brother Murray Fussell (Lucille) of Burns; six grandchildren, Scott, Keith, Jonathan and Brian Fussell; Lisa McAfee and Julie Swertfeger; as well as 11 great-grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 18th at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home with Brother Steven Lee officiating.  Interment to follow at Dickson County Memorial Gardens.  Visitation with the family will begin on Tuesday, October 17th from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.  Arrangements by Dickson Funeral Home, 209 East College Street, Dickson, TN  37055.  Phone 615-446-2313.  Online condolences may be left at www.dicksonfuneralhome.com.
