Birdie Augusta Tidwell

Birdie Augusta Tidwell of Fairview, TN; Age 93; Passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at the Waters of Cheatham in Ashland City, TN. She was born in Davidson County, TN on November 16, 1923 to the late Mr. & Mrs. John Henry and Bertha Thomas (Peach) Ensey.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Grady Tidwell; sons Grady Lynn Tidwell & Phillip Glenn Tidwell; brother Ralph Ensey; sisters Jolee Hughes, Vera Jones, Lois Bowers, and Mary Ensey. She is survived by her son Maurice Tidwell (Donna) of Fairview, TN; daughter Henrietta Harris (Jerry) of Nashville, TN; as well as 15 grandchildren, several great and great great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Sunday, September 24, 2017 from 12 PM – until time of services at the Fairview Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 24, 2017 from the Fairview Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home with Bro. Fred Mayberry officiating. Burial will follow on Monday, September 25, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.Family & Friends are asked to meet at Harpeth Hills for the burial.
