Cordell McArthur Daugherty

Cordell “Mac” McArthur Daugherty, age 73 passed away on Friday, August 25th, 2017 at NHC “The Trace” in Nashville.  He was born in Williamson County, TN on September 11th, 1943 to the late Henry Oliver and Lena Lampley Daugherty.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Gerald Wayne Daugherty; brothers Ira and Frank Daugherty; sisters Nellie Smith and Wilma Old; as well as several half brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Daugherty of Fairview; two sons, Frank Daugherty (Bonnie) , and Jason Daugherty, both of Fairview; brothers David Daugherty of Lyles, Ted Daugherty of Fairview; sister Sue Smith of Smithville, TN; two grandchildren, Tamara Sanders and Brittanee Hayes; and three great-grandchildren, Lillian, Reece, and Kennedi. Services will be held on Monday, August 28th at 3:00 p.m. from the Fairview Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home with Brother Thomas Sullivan officiating.  Interment to follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery of Williamson County.  Visitation with the family will begin on Monday, August 28th from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
