Jean Lee

Jean Donegan Lee, age 89, of Dickson was born March 17, 1928 in Dickson County.  She joined her heavenly Father on August, 14th, 2017.                                                                   She is survived by her son, Jessie Lynn Foster and wife Carolyn Foster.  She was predeceased in death by her father J.W. “Dugan” Donegan and mother Elzena Street Donegan. Jean was a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Dickson.  She was a licensed beautician and owner of Jean’s Beauty Shop.  She loved fishing, cooking, bowling, gardening, and homemaking. Jean was a lifetime member of American Legion Lucien Berry Post 115 Auxiliary, serving as President, Treasurer, and served on many committees at several levels.  In 1985, she served as Department of Tennessee Auxiliary President. She was also a lifetime member of the Sensing Brothers VFW Post 4641 Auxiliary serving as Treasurer. Jean loved serving for the betterment and benefit protection for all Veterans. Visitation will be Friday, August 18th, from 5-8 pm and Saturday, August 19th, beginning at 10 am.  Funeral Services will be Saturday, August 19th, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home with Bro. Louis Bratton officiating.  Burial will follow in Union Cemetery of Dickson.
