Annie Loretta Hamilton

Loretta Hamilton, age 79, passed away on Thursday, August 3rd, 2017 at her residence in Dickson.  She was born on June 3rd, 1938 to the late Clarence and Mary Fowler Spann.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Odell Hamilton; brothers Ray and Doug Spann; sisters Betty Jones, Doy Akers, Claytie Gafford, Lucille Garrett, Ruth Owen, and Odel Craft; as well as a granddaughter, Laura Hamilton. She is survived by two sons, Greg Hamilton (Janice) and Eric Hamilton (Cindy) of Dickson; daughter Danita Hamilton (John) of Vanleer; sisters Barbara Suiter (Aubrey) of Cooper Town, TN, Verna Price of Johnson City, TN; grandchildren, Michael, David, Tonya, Sandra, John II and Johnna; great-grandchildren, Dalton, Wyatt, Jake, Kaylee, Gunner, Patricia, Aiden, Izzy, Ellie, and Lucy.  She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 5th at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home with Brothers Doug Smith and Paul Picard officiating.  Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will begin on Friday, August 04, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
