William Douglas Pinkerton

William Douglas “Doug” Pinkerton, age 71 passed away on June 28th, 2017 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, TN.  He was born on May 21st, 1946 to the late Nathaniel and Edie Rutlidge Pinkerton in Nashville.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Naomi Pinkerton; and brothers Red and Frank Pinkerton. He is survived by two step-sons, Roger and Sonny Daly; daughter April Zumbrun; brother Edward Pinkerton (Lorraine) of Watertown, TN; four grandchildren, Robbie Richardson, Roger, Misti, and Shelby Daly, as well as ten great-grandchildren, Mikayla, Jeanne, Jayda Richardson, William Wilder, Walker Daly, Aiden, Airia  Bransford, Alana and Kaycen Lee, Marie Emison and Hunter Patrick.  The family will have a private burial at a later date.
