Lyndon Hughes Dotson

Lyndon Hughes Dotson, age 85 passed away on Friday, March 24th, 2017 at his residence in Dickson, TN.  He was born in Humphreys County, TN on April 23rd, 1931 to the late Doss Ezra and Anna Adams Dotson.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Oleane Dotson; son Jerry Dotson; brothers Arthur, Lucian, Marable, and Raymond Dotson; and sister Imogene Constance. He is survived by his son, Gary Dotson and special friend, Tina France of Dickson; daughter Jill Redden (William) of Dickson; sisters Ova Lee Parchman and Corrine Street of Dickson, and Oretha Parchman of McEwen; six grandchildren Jessica and Emily Dotson; Jason (Megan) and Travis (Amanda) Redden, Joshua Dotson and Lyndsey (Jerrad) McIllwain.  He is also survived by five great-grandchildren, Jack, Milam, Audrey, Sadie, and River. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 26th at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Union Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will begin on Saturday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until time of service.
