Jimmy Harlon Brazzell

Jimmy Harlon Brazzell, age 76 passed away on Tuesday, March 21st, 2017 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson.  He was born on January 23rd, 1941 to the late Ray and Elizabeth Adcock Brazzell.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister Betty England , and brother Tommy Brazzell.  Mr. Brazzell worked at Ford Glass Plant for 32 years and was a member of the First Methodist Church.  He was able to roller skate until two years ago, and was known around town as the “beanie babies’ man.”  He loved drag racing which he did for many years, as well as coaching a little league team.  He is survived by his wife of 54 years,  Suzanne Brazzell; son Mike Brazzell (Eva); and daughter Jennifer Miller (Bret) all of Dickson, TN; and one granddaughter, Ashley Miller-Payne (Tyler) of Burns, TN.  He is also survived by his fur baby, Minnie.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 23rd at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home with Reverend James Wellar officiating.  Interment to follow at Jackson’s Chapel Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will begin on Wednesday, March 22nd from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Dickson Humane Society.  Arrangements by Dickson Funeral Home, 209 East College Street, Dickson, TN  37055.  Phone 615-446-2313.  Online condolences may be left at www.dicksonfuneralhome.com.
