Patsy Louise Darden

Patsy Louise Darden, age 87 passed away on Monday, February 20th, 2017 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville.  She was born in Soddy Daisy, TN on July 16th, 1929 to the late Curtis John and Emma Jane Weaver Higdon.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Albert Darden; sons Michael C. and Samuel C. Darden ; grandson Jason T. Hogan; brothers Hubert and Richard Higdon; and sisters Lillian Martin, Naomi Webb, Ruth McKinley, and Hazel Hargrove. She is survived b her son David Darden of Charlotte; daughters Michaelyne Turner (Roger Corlew) of Charlotte; Carolyn Vaughn (John) of Dickson; grandchildren, David, Jr. , Nikeyta, Terrence, Jasmine, Dominique, Michael, Keith, Quiana, LaShea, Kimberly, Derrick, Timothy, Tina, Candice, and Joanie.  She is also survived by 48 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 27th at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home with Reverend Benessa Sweat officiating.  Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the VA Cemetery on McCrory Lane.  Visitation with the family will begin on Sunday, February 26th from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and again on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.Arrangements by Dickson Funeral Home, 209 East College Street, Dickson, TN  37055.  Phone 615-446-2313.  Online condolences may be left at www.dicksonfuneralhome.com.
