Martha Elizabeth Peeler

Mrs. Martha Elizabeth Peeler of Dickson, TN; Age 92; Passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Dickson Health & Rehab Center. Mrs. Peeler was born on August 25, 1924 in Hickman County, TN to the late Mr. & Mrs. Bob & Edie (Lester) Bryant.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband James Cayce Peeler; brothers Robert, Richard, Dan, & Eddie Bryant; as well as her sisters Eula Mae Chandler, Gracie Hallenmontaller, and Lillian Weatherspoon. She is survived by her son James D. Peeler (Marie) of Dickson, TN; daughter Elaine Lankford (Walter) of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren Darrell Peeler (Gina), Gary Peeler (Kelli), Eric Peeler (Leah), Tommy Lankford, and Derrick Lankford; great grandchildren Kristen, Molly, Owen, and Graham Peeler, Amber Shimon, Danny, Brittany, Christopher, and Connor Lankford; as well as her 2 great great grandchildren Prestyn & Ella Shimon. Visitation for Mrs. Peeler will be on Monday, January 30, 2017 from 4 – 8 PM at Dickson Funeral Home and will continue on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Bethel Baptist Church from 9 – until time of service. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Bethel Baptist Church with Bro. Randy Franklin officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Dickson, TN.
