Mr. Michael Bruce Guthrie of Dickson, TN; Age 62; Passed away in Salinas, KS. Mr. Guthrie was born in Wayne County, MI on September 08, 1954 to the late Mr. & Mrs. William Calvin & Voicie (Felts) Guthrie. In addition to his parents Mr. Guthrie was preceded in death by his brothers Harry, Tommy, Donnie, and Jerry Guthrie; sister Voicie Willean Guthrie; sisters-in-law Bernice & Teresa; as well as his brother-in-law Roger. Michael is survived by his loving wife Cynthia C. Guthrie of Dickson, TN; son Michael Bruce Guthrie of Nashville, TN; daughter Charlotte Guthrie of Vanleer, TN; brothers Calvin Lee Guthrie (Nancy) of Vanleer, TN, and Stephen Douglas Manning of Hollywood, CA; sisters Cathy Ray (Frank) of Erin, TN, Sharon Burnett (James Bear) of Dickson, TN, and Brenda Haines (Larry) of Navarre, FL; as well as his grandchildren Michael David Guthrie, Isaiah Ray Guthrie, Justus Cole Guthrie, and Gabriel Coates. Visitation for Mr. Guthrie will be on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 from 3 – 8 PM, Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 3 – 8 PM; and again on Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 9 AM – until time of service. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 PM on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in Sherwood Cemetery.
