James Ewell Jones

Mr. James Ewell Jones; of Fairview; Age 88; Passed away on Sunday, December 04, 2016 at his residence. Mr. Jones was born in Williamson County, TN to the late Mr. & Mrs. James Thomas & Bertha (Deal) Jones, on September 29, 1928. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers Lloyd Buttrey, Vernon Jones, Bill Jones, and Tom Jones; as well as his sisters, Cecile Jeffries and Edith Sexton. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from August 1952 until August 1954.  He later went on to work in printing at Werthan Bag Co. until he retired. Mr. Jones is survived by his wife Mrs. Flora L. Jones of Fairview, TN; son James Eric Jones (Missy) of Little Rock, AR; daughter Kristie Burnett of Fairview, TN; as well as 5 grandchildren Leah and Dale Burnett, and Harrison, Maggie, and Julianna Jones. Visitation will be on Friday, December 9, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Fairview from 10AM until time of service.
