George Michael Bates

George Michael Bates, age 65 passed away on Saturday, December 3rd at Grace Health Care in Franklin, TN.  He was born in Arab, AL on November 7th, 1951 to the late George Martin and Dorris Herring Bates. He is survived by two sons, Matthew Bates (Crystal) of Fairview, TN, Jon Bates (Kelley) of Burns, TN; one brother Joe Bates of Gatlinburg, TN; and nine grandchildren.
