Russell Wayne Spicer

Russell Wayne Spicer; of White Bluff, TN; Age 78; Passed away on Thursday, October 06, 2016 at Dickson Healthcare & Rehab Facility in Dickson, TN. Mr. Spicer was born on August 20, 1938 to the late Mr.  & Mrs. James Stewart & Maryetta Eccles Spicer.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son Charles Wayne Spicer. Mr. Spicer is a retired Machinist from Schrader Automotive, a member of the Jackson Temple Church of Christ, as well as the founding member and captain of the Dickson County Rescue Squad. He is survived by his loving wife Joyce Marie Walden Spicer of White Bluff, TN; son James “Jimmy” O’Neal Spicer (Anita); 3 grandchildren Zachary, Anthony, and Matthew Spicer; as well as 5 great grandchildren. Visitation for Mr. Spicer will be held on Sunday, October 9, 2016 from 3 – 7 PM and again on Monday, October 10, 2016 from 11 – until time of service at Dickson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Monday, October 10, 2016 beginning at 1:00 PM with Bro. Larry Spicer officiating. Burial will follow at Rock Church Cemetery in Dickson, TN.
