Susan Kay Thomas

Susan Kay Thomas, age 56 passed away on Sunday, June 26th at her residence in Bon Aqua, TN.  She was born in Prairie du Chien, WI to the late Theodore and Marian Ricker Vorwald on December 1st, 1959.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Missy Sue Grother, and niece Gena Schanbeck.  She was a customer service representative at Walmart.  She is survived by a son, Daniel Grother of Cedar Rapids, IA; daughter Heidi Heidelberg (Michael) of Bon Aqua; brother Steven Halverson (Robin) of Garrison, KY; sisters Phyllis Wiggins of Waukon, IA, Peggy Cooksley of Eltin, IA, and Kathy McDermott of Anamosa, IA.  She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, Quinn, Kianna, Tynesha, Ezykiel, Ella Mae, Carver, Bryton, Adison, Cayden, Danyel, and Hunter. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 29th at 1:00p.m. from the Fairview Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home.  Visitation with the family will begin from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Harpeth Hills Cemetery.
