Jessie Levon Franklin-Kimbro

Jessie Levon Franklin Kimbro, age 89 of Dickson, TN passed away on Tuesday, June 7th at NHC in Dickson, TN.   She was born in Nimmons, AR on April 19th, 1927 to the late Clemmons and Stella Arnett McClure.  In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husbands, Clarence Franklin and Charles Kimbro; son Clarence Jimmie Franklin; brothers, Harvey, Roland, Vernon, and Joel McClure; sister Capitola McClure; and great-granddaughter Madaline Isla Morris. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Metcalf (Raymond) of Tyner, KY; six grandchildren, Richard, Kevin, Jason, and Nathaniel Morris, Jamie Franklin, and Jennifer Franklin Caskey.  She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Kimbro will be held on Wednesday, June 15th at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home with Brother Mitch Stevens officiating.  Interment will follow at Sanders Cemetery in Poplar Grove, TN.  Visitation with the family will begin on Tuesday, June 14th from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
