Pauline Welch

Pauline Welch, age 86 passed away on Sunday, February 21st, 2016 at St. Thomas West in Nashville. She was born on February 25th, 1929 in Williamson County, TN to the late Presley Columbus and Jenny Manus Merritt. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Clayborne Wann Welch, Jr,; son Johnny Wayne Welch; sisters Gracie Jones and Brownie Pruitt, and brother Ed Merritt.She is survived by two sons, Clayborne Wann Welch III (Diane) of Dracut, MA, Michael Ray Welch (Karen) of Fairview, TN; four daughters, Sandra Gail Stoops (Thurman) of Lyles, TN, Shelia Kay Fox (J. C.) of Franklin, TN, Sherry Darlene Welch of Moncks Corner, SC, Trina Lynn Stone (Charlie) of Fairview; and two sisters, Christine Bishop of Fairview and Bonnie Graham of Lebanon, TN. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Ms. Welch will be held on Wednesday, February 24th at 2:00 p.m. at the Dickson Funeral Home Fairview Chapel with Brother Joe Currey officiating. Interment will follow at Angel’s Rest Cemetery.
